Office and computer paper, junk mail, greeting cards and sticky notes are acceptable paper items.
Metals
In general, rinse out metal cans to eliminate odor and bacteria in your container. Don't worry about the labels. Flatten the cans if you need to make more space.

Tin cans, which actually are steel cans, include soup, sardine and coffee cans. Aluminum and tin can be mixed with plastics in one cart.

The number of the plastic is usually stamped on the bottom of the containers. These containers include milk jugs, butter and margarine containers, pop and water bottles, and detergent bottles. These may be mixed in with tin and aluminum cans.
Plastic Grocery Bags
These are not accepted as recyclables.
Newspaper
Newspapers and magazines may be mixed together.
Magazines
Magazines and catalogs may be mixed with newspapers.
Phone Books
Phonebooks may be recycled and mixed with newspapers and magazines.
